Project Summary

Alberta Environment and Protected Areas issues dispositions for cottages and RV motorhomes within eight subdivisions located within Provincial Parks. Development standards have traditionally varied considerably between the subdivisions/parks.

The Corvus Centre was asked to review the eight existing standards and draft a common table of contents for a standardized document; review and evaluate relevant provincial and municipal statute and policy; and provide updated draft standards.

Corvus reviewed and parsed the existing standards, reviewed applicable municipal bylaw Information and statutes and regulations, interviewed staff, drafted new standards, and updated all diagrams, standardized the terminology, and oversaw a review by staff across the province.
