Project Summary

The Improving Conservation of Nature on Private Lands: Targeted Research and Awareness-raising project included 13 discrete but related sub-projects. Many of these related to the application of the conservation easement tool in Alberta. A decision was ultimately made to create a single website as the distribution nexus of project results.

Part way through the creation of the site, it became obvious this should house all the conservation easement research, information, and communication materials created by the Corvus Centre. The "while we're here" syndrome hit full force, and we decided to link to all the other useful resources created by others that would be of value to people wanting to more fully understand this tool.

Thus, the Alberta Conservation Easement Resource Centre was born.
