Project Summary

The Corvus Centre conducted a scan of the mandate letters provided by Alberta’s Premier in 2023 to the new cabinet ministers, doing so with an eye specifically to the implications for nature conservation.

Corvus looked at the specific pieces of direction in these letters that we felt do or potentially could affect efforts to conserve nature, and provided commentary on what that might imply for conservation practitioners.
